The Best Headhunter at RPSL 2022-23
At 2023RPSL AGM, President Peter Cockburn FRPSL presented a nice book to Jack Zhang FRPSL as a gift & called Jack "the best Headhunter at the Royal Philatelic Society London 2022-23" for proposing or seconding stamp collectors to join the Royal. Many thanks to Peter for his kindness!
Michael Roberts Becomes New RPSL President

Winners of FEPA Medals 2022
Many congratulations to all winners of FEPA Medals 2022! Our two past presidents, Patrick (our adviser)and Frank, won the MEDALS FOR EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE TO ORGANISED PHILATELY, well-deserved! It is a great pity that Frank left us last year and could not collect this medal, but we are sure that he can get this great news in the paradise.
A Great Chinese Artist, Mr Huang Yongyu Died
One of the most famous Chinese Artists, Mr.Huang Yongyu, passed away at age of 99 on 13 June 2023. He designed the world-famous stamp: Red Monkey in 1980. May Mr.Huang RIP!
New RDPs in 2023
According to Linn's Stamp News, on 16 Feb.,2023, the board of election of the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists selected five individuals to sign the Roll in 26 May, considered one of the hobby’s most significant honors. The honorees are Patricia “Trish” Kaufmann of USA, Pradip Jain of India, Damian Lage of Switzerland, Jesus Sitja Prats of Spain and Turhan Turgut of Turkey. Many congratulations to them! 2022 Autum Stampex Held in London, UK
Many congratulations to Mike Smith FRPSL for winning the Silver Mailcoach for the best in the show at 2022 Stampex, the UK's National Stamp Exhibition in London yesterday. Chris Harman RDP FRPSL(left), the President of the Jury, presented the Silver Mailcoach to Mike.

The 2nd Guangdong-Hong Kong- Macao Greater Bay Area Philatelic Exhibition opened in Humen,Dongguan, China today.

Frank Walton RDP FRPSL Passed Away on 1 April 2022
It is with great sadness that we report that Frank Walton passed away on 1 April 2022. He was suffering from stomach cancer. Frank will be sorely missed. We send our heartfelt and deepest condolences to his family. Please click here to leave your thoughts in the Condolence Book.
Frank Walton RDP FRPSL was a specialist in Sierra Leone philately, an international juror, former Editor of the London Philatelist (2001-2014), and a signatory of the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists (2015). He was greatly involved with the latest International Philatelic Exhibitions in London as General Commissioner in 2015 and as Chairman of the Organising Committee in 2022.
